Sharan Bryson never looks at what she doesn’t have – she always seems to find the gifts around every corner. “I am sitting here before you today a true miracle – a true miracle – because I was dead”, Sharan said. It was a reality check for Elizabeth Pokorny. She spent the better part of her life taking care of everyone else. Elizabeth is a mom first, and a nurse a close second. “I thought I was on top of the world”, Jermaine Hickey said. And by all accounts he was on the fast-track. In 2010, Jermaine was barely out of college and already a homeowner, climbing the corporate ladder as a financial planner.
